Friday, Sept. 26 — 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.
Saturday, Sept. 27 — 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.
Sunday, Sept. 28 — 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.
Monday, Sept. 29 — 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.
Tuesday, Sept. 30 — 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.
Wednesday,  Oct. 1 — 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.
Thursday, Oct. 2 — 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.
Friday, Oct. 3 — 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.
Saturday, Oct. 4 — 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.
Sunday, Oct. 5 — 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.

Note: These are the Ticket Plaza and building hours only; rides will continue to operate for a minimum of one hour after the Ticket Plaza closes, or longer at the discretion of fair management.

Advance tickets available now!

Spend less time in line and more time enjoying the fair—and save money! Online sales of advance tickets will run through Sept. 23, and tickets can be purchased at the following ticket outlets after Labor day:

  • BB&T bank locations in the Richmond, Charlottesville, Fredericksburg and Petersburg areas
  • Call Federal Credit Union
  • Caroline County Visitor Center
  • Martin’s Food Markets locations in the Richmond, Ashland, Tri-Cities and Williamsburg areas

Purchase your tickets in advance at the weekday price, and use them any one day during the 2014 fair. That’s up to a $3 discount on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays!

2014 Festival Stage Concerts: Parmalee, The Original Drifters, The Fabulous Thunderbirds and more!

This year’s Festival Stage concert series will include hit country band Parmalee, long-lasting vocal group The Original Drifters and ‘80s blues rockers The Fabulous Thunderbirds. Read more

Admission to afternoon and evening concerts is included in the fair’s general admission price.

2014 Black Tie & Boots – Mingle at The Meadow

Black Tie & Boots is back! This VIP opening-night celebration will benefit the State Fair of Virginia Scholarship Program. Read more

Performers being scheduled for local music stage

Fair organizers are accepting applications from Virginia-based performers for the event’s local music venue, the Triple Crown Amphitheater. One-hour slots are available on each day of the fair’s 10-day run. Read more
