We're inviting industry partners, businesses and schools on Tuesday, October 1st between 10 AM - 3 PM as part of our first ever Career Fair as part of the Ed Expo! This is a great opportunity to get in front of school students to share information for students to learn about continued education and careers in agriculture, natural resources, trade skills and more!
Our Career Day conveniently aligns with FFA and SkillsUSA competitions in which students from across the state will be competiting in.
To register, fill out this form here.Participation fee for day-of exhibitors is $100. Fee includes 3 tickets and a table. The booth must be staffed from 10 AM when gates open until 3 PM but are welcome to be staffed later for the evening crowd. Exhibitors will be on the meadow hall lawn (near the boxwoods) under an event tent if they do not already have a spot.
For educational and agricultural partners who are already exhibiting for the duration of the 10-day fair and want to participate, there is no additional fee.
Every year, the fair welcomes over 215,000 people to celebrate the Best of Virginia during the 10 days. On weekdays, the fair is home to the Ed Expo, currently hosting over 12,000 students across Virginia for field trips and competitions in culinary arts, creative arts, horticulture, 4H, FFA, SkillsUSA, DECA, FCCLA & HOSA. We are seeking industries, companies and schools that would like to table for the 1-day event to connect with students and fairgoers about career and educational opportunities in their field for a minimal fee.
